Find your person (get it grey's anatomy...)
I always hear people talk about how high school was the time of their lives, they miss it, being young and "free". I'm sorry but I don't get why it is missed, it is really just an ongoing cycle of working hard and complaining about working hard, grades, drama, cliques, every awkward situation possible mushed into four years, why do we miss it so much? Well, I personally think that there is something about going through this together with people struggling right along side you that that brings us closer together and makes connections between the oddest groups of people that in any other situation would not be in each others company, ever! In fact It's these bonds that I feel people miss, the way you can feel so close to someone without wondering how or why you do, but just feeling reassured and comforted in situations of pain and overwhelming stress. So my first advice for anyone looking to survive those dreadful halls filled with angst and tears of seemingly impending failure, find that connection, find your person to laugh, cry, hate, and ultimately love. They will push you to do what you didn't even know you could do, and help you through it all. In the end that is what is getting me through "the time of my life"
